Education Resources

Audible believes that stories help. “They entertain. They teach. They keep young minds active, alert, and engaged.” For as long as schools are closed, Audible is offering free stories for kids (toddlers-teens).

Take a look at a comprehensive list of virtual field trips to explore while students are studying at home. These range from exploring the surface of mars, to viewing live animal cams at zoos around the country.

This link features a collection of math videos to help students strengthen fundamentals or review new content. All grades are featured, and is a fantastic resource for younger siblings.

This is an incredible collection of resources with activities that range from baking cookies and making hand soap to learning how to code a website. This resource is particularly great for parents who are looking for ways to keep children of different ages occupied and stimulated.

Mental Health Resources

A YMCA based in Wichita, KA launched a YouTube channel featuring free exercise videos to keep their community healthy and happy while their facilities are closed.

Consider this your Coronavirus Sanity Guide. "In times like these, we need practical, actionable ways of coping with stress, fear, and anxiety. The meditations, podcasts, blog posts, and talks on this page will help you build resilience and find some calm amidst the chaos.” Everyday, 10% Happier is putting a live stream meditation on YouTube for free, and will continue to add resources to this page.

Great yoga classes that can be done anywhere! Classes vary in length, and range in ability. Free on YouTube.

National non-profit associated with the National Domestic Violence Hotline. Provides free 24/7, confidential, anonymous support & referrals in both English and Spanish.
